Key Responsibilities

Conduct client consultations to understand hair goals, lifestyle, hair texture/condition and recommend appropriate services. Perform advanced haircutting for both female and male clients -- including restyles, transformations and men's barbering/fades. Execute complex hair-colour services: balayage, ombre, highlights, root-touch-ups, colour corrections, toning. Deliver hair treatments: keratin, hair botox, protein/reconstruction treatments, smoothing/straightening. Provide hair-extension services (for all hair types: fine, normal, coarse, curly, textured) -- including selection of method, colour/texture matching, installation, maintenance, removal. Style and finish hair: blow-dries, curls, waves, up-dos, men's groomed styles -- ensuring seamless extension integration where applicable. Build strong client relationships: provide after-care advice, recommend products, maintain preference records and encourage client loyalty. Actively upsell add-on services and retail products while maintaining integrity and client trust. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional workstation; ensure all tools and the salon environment meet hygiene standards. Collaborate with the salon team (reception, junior stylists, assistants) to ensure smooth operations, scheduling and high client satisfaction. Stay current with industry trends, techniques and products; participate in ongoing training to refine advanced skills.

Skills & Experience -- Required

Minimum 4-5 years of salon experience in a busy environment (UAE experience preferred). Strong proficiency in advanced women's and men's haircutting, including barber-style fades/trims for men. Demonstrated expertise in complex colouring techniques (balayage, ombre, highlights, corrective colour). Proven experience delivering advanced hair-treatment services (keratin, smoothing, reconstruction). Competence in hair-extensions across all hair types: ability to choose the right system, match colour & texture, install, blend and maintain extensions. Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written) are

. Additional language proficiency (Arabic and/or Tagalog) is a

value added advantage

. Upselling mindset: able to recommend add-ons and retail products confidently while maintaining client trust. Professional appearance, punctual, team-oriented, flexible and reliable. Valid UAE work permit or candidate eligible for employment visa.

Qualifications

Diploma or certification in Hairdressing/Cosmetology (preferred). Portfolio or Instagram handle showing prior work: colour transformations, extensions, treatments, and haircut styles. Certification/training in chemical services, extension systems is preferred. Hygiene and health training/certification (in line with Dubai regulations) is preferred.

Personal Attributes

Creative flair and passion for hair artistry and client experience. Excellent interpersonal skills: listens, asks the right questions, explains treatments/after-care, builds trust. Detail-oriented and dexterous -- especially important for cuts, colour and extensions. Adaptable and able to handle multiple service types in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality. Calm under pressure, maintains consistency and quality during busy periods. Growth-oriented: eager to learn advanced techniques, mentor others and contribute to salon growth.
