Senior Test Automation Engineer

Senior Test Automation Engineer with proven expertise in Tricentis Tosca, API automation, and CI/CD to support testing across our SAP/non-SAP platforms. You will work to design, build, and maintain scalable, maintainable, and robust automated tests aligned with business processes, integrating them into Azure DevOps.

Roles & Responsibilities

Define the automation strategy and roadmap aligned to fast-evolving business and compliance requirements; prioritize by risk, usage, and Tricentis CIA recommendations. Design, build, and maintain end-to-end automated regression suites in Tricentis Tosca (Model-Based Testing, Modules, TestCase Design, ExecutionLists, Reusable TestSteps, Business Parameters). Automate API tests (e.g., tax rule calculations, validations, submissions, integrations) using Tosca API Scan; include positive/negative, boundary, idempotency, and contract checks. SAP focus: Automate SAP GUI and Fiori/UI5 flows for CT/VAT lifecycles, master data, payments, and back-office scenarios; handle dynamic locators, tables, multi-session, and popups robustly. Integrate with CI/CD in Azure DevOps (pipelines, gates, test results publishing), enabling continuous execution on code and config changes. Leverage Tricentis CIA (Change Impact Analysis) / LiveCompare to scope impacted objects and optimize regression selection, execution order, and cycle time. Test data management: Use Tosca Test Data Service (TDS) and data-driven patterns; ensure masking/scrambling and compliance with data privacy. Stability & maintenance: Proactively refactor tests/modules to reduce flakiness; maintain locators, synchronizations, and environment configs across Dev/QA/UAT/Pre-Prod. Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, SAP functional consultants, developers, integration teams, and partners to ensure full coverage and fast defect turnaround. Reporting: Produce clear daily/weekly QA reports (coverage, pass/fail, failure causes, run duration), and publish insights to stakeholders.

Requirements

Qualification and Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent Tricentis Certification (Automation Specialist Level 1 & 2 or Test Architect). ISTQB certified

Minimum Experience/Skills Required:

Minimum 6+ years of test automation experience, with at least 3+ years in Tricentis Tosca. Proven ability to work in Agile and waterfall projects. Strong knowledge in STLC and SDLC Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps - boards, repos, pipelines, and test plans. In-depth knowledge of API testing with Tosca and service virtualization if required. Experience with CI/CD implementation in DevOps pipelines, preferably for SAP landscapes. Working knowledge of Tricentis CIA Tool for regression optimization. Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred:

Experience in SAP Taxation systems. Familiarity with Tricentis, NeoLoad for performance testing is a plus. Familiarity with CIA (Change Impact Analysis). * Understanding of tax-specific integrations.
