Job Purpose

The Senior Engineer - Voice will be responsible to Install and maintain latest voice technology solutions including value added applications like Unified messaging based on market leader product portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

  • Installation & commissioning of Alcatel Enterprise System ( like OmniPCX Enterprise Solutions, Alcatel Open Touch UC Solution)
  • Installation & Commissioning of NEC Enterprise System (Like NEC SV 9500, NEC SV 9300, and NEC SV 9100, NEC 3C UC System)
  • Installation and commissioning enterprise applications like Omni Vista, SBC, Call Centre
  • Installation and commissioning enterprise applications like Business connect call centre, MA 4000, NEC SBC, DECT, NEC Voce mail applications
  • Installation and commissioning of Ribbon SBC
  • Post implementation support for the above devices
  • Good knowledge of Installation of Trunk lines, Analog, SIP, ISDN Lines T0/T2 (BRA/PRA/BPRA), T-1 Lines IP Lines, H323
  • Good Knowledge of third party call centres, Voice logger, Voice Mail, Call accounting applications & MS team integration with NEC & ALE IP Telephony
  • Installation and Supervise Hospitality Solutions including integration with third party PMS, Voice Mail & Call accounting
  • Good Knowledge of PABX networking with CCIS, QSIG, ABC-F,SIP, PRA, E&M, PCM, IP Networking
  • Good knowledge of Call Centre Installation including Call Flow, Configuration, Testing and Commissioning Lead the solution delivery activity when deputed as responsible for service delivery of specific project
  • Responsible for design, configuration and ongoing management Communication and Telecommunication infrastructure spanning multiple locations
  • Responsible for all technical issue updates to line manager
  • Responsible for escalations and support for critical customers
  • Works with other team members/customers to develop design strategies and implementation plans for new initiatives and/or to resolve problems
  • Responsible able to do pre/post sales of the Voice/UC solutions Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customer\xe2\x80\x99s business requirements
  • Proactive analyses, troubleshooting and resolution of telecommunications systems and circuit issues in a timely manner
  • Interacts with end-users and all levels of management in developing solutions to problems or creating efficiencies pertaining to Telecom processes that impact the business
  • Leads new Products and/or vendor evaluations by providing technical guidance, expertise and feedback
  • Assists with preparation and monitoring of budget for Unified Communications and Telecommunication Infrastructure
  • Any other additional tasks the line manger may give and is within the scope of work

Job Requirements

Qualifications
  • Diploma/Engineering Degree qualifications (Computer Science, Electronics and communications)
  • Chartered or Professional Engineer status is desirable

Experience
  • Minimum 7 - 10 years engineering related experience

Certifications
  • Highest level of certifications on the products/solutions

Knowledge & Skills
  • Minimum ALE certificates, ACSE in Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, Open Touch and Call Centre Solutions, Omni Vista 8770 Application
  • Minimum NEC certificates, Installations and configuration of SV 9100, SV 9300, SV 9500, 3C,SBC, BCT & Applications
  • Excellent problem analytical skills and problem simulation
  • Good Knowledge of IP addressing and (IPV4/IPV6) and subnetting
  • Good Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP, etc.
  • Good Knowledge in Windows AD, DNS MS Exchange etc.
  • Display willingness to help others, a pleasant personality and a professional behaviour Liaising with project management team, Line Manager and service desk engineers on a regular basis
  • Teamwork, Written, verbal communication & presentation skills
  • Continuously upgrade the skills by self-learning Excellent relationship building skills
