AECOM are currently seeking a Senior BIM Technician - Public Health, to be based in our Abu Dhabi office. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing Building Information Models (BIM) for a variety of building projects. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, coordinated, and efficient designs.
Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 3D BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Work closely with engineers to model HVAC systems, electrical layouts, and plumbing designs, maintaining proper spatial coordination.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve issues between MEP systems and other disciplines using tools like Navisworks, Revizto.
• Develop custom Revit families for specific MEP components as required by project needs.
• Collaborate with sustainability teams to integrate energy analysis and environmental considerations into MEP designs.
• Generate detailed schematics, layouts, and schedules for MEP systems, ensuring compliance with design standards.
• Provide BIM support for construction teams, addressing design issues and making real-time adjustments to models.
• Ensure MEP models follow industry-specific and Local Authority standards (e.g., ASHRAE, CIBSE) and project BIM Execution Plans.

Qualifications

• A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or a related subject.
• A minimum of 7 years is required, for this role.
