SENIOR TECHNICIAN - MULTI
Job Title: Senior Technician - Multi (Multi-Skilled)
Reports To: Operations Manager or Facility Manager
Summary:
The Senior Multi-Skilled Technician is a highly experienced professional proficient in two or more trade disciplines (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry). This role handles complex repairs, performs preventative maintenance, and provides guidance to junior technicians across various systems within a facility.
Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve complex maintenance issues that span multiple trade disciplines.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
• Serve as a technical resource and mentor for junior technicians and apprentices.
• Coordinate small projects, including planning, material procurement, and execution.
• Respond to and manage urgent maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for various systems.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Interface with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, time, and materials.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role.
• Proven competency in at least two core trades (e.g., Journeyman Plumber + HVAC Certification).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Valid driver's license and any required trade-specific licenses.
