Urgent requirement for a Senior Tax Audit Lead to be based in Dubai on a 1-year contract for a major Financial Institution. Responsibilities: As the Senior Tax Audit Lead, you will be responsible for leading the identification of potential non-compliance cases and overseeing the audit process for Taxable Persons. Your responsibilities will include: \xc2\xb7 Non-Compliance Identification: Lead the identification of potential non-compliance cases through investigation and forensic activities, leveraging your expertise to detect irregularities and potential violations of tax regulations. \xc2\xb7 Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Tax Compliance Sector and Taxpayer Services to identify the need for inspections and audits, ensuring a coordinated and comprehensive approach to compliance enforcement. \xc2\xb7 Audit Leadership: Take the lead in planning and executing audit cases on Taxable Persons, ensuring thorough examination of financial records, transactions, and compliance with tax laws. \xc2\xb7 Compliance Assessment: Evaluate the accuracy and completeness of tax returns, financial statements, and supporting documentation to determine the level of compliance with tax regulations. \xc2\xb7 Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, discrepancies, and recommendations for corrective actions, and present these findings to senior management and relevant authorities. \xc2\xb7 Audit Documentation: Manage and maintain comprehensive audit documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to audit standards and procedures. \xc2\xb7 Compliance Improvement: Provide guidance and recommendations for improving tax compliance processes and procedures, helping to reduce the risk of non-compliance.
