As a

Senior Systems and Infrastructure Engineer

, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, deployment, and management of robust IT infrastructure systems. This includes both on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, leadership experience in infrastructure projects, and a passion for adopting emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain scalable IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking equipment, and cloud platforms. Monitor system performance and proactively address issues to ensure system uptime and reliability. Lead infrastructure and systems projects -- from planning and deployment to documentation and handover. Ensure systems are secure through best practices, updates, patching, and ongoing risk assessments. Manage Office 365, Windows Servers (2016/2019/2022), and virtual environments (VMware/Hyper-V). Administer and optimize Azure-based cloud infrastructure and services.

Deploy, administer, and troubleshoot hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) solutions such as Nutanix.

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise-grade switches, routers, and firewalls. Automate repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency using scripting or management tools. Provide mentorship to junior engineers and support cross-functional collaboration across departments. Keep up-to-date with evolving technologies, tools, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. 6-8 years of proven experience in systems and infrastructure engineering. Expertise in virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.

Hands-on experience with Nutanix Enterprise Cloud / Prism management is highly desirable.

Proficient in Windows Server administration (2016, 2019, 2022). Hands-on experience with Office 365 administration and Azure infrastructure. Strong understanding of network switches, firewalls, and related security practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

VMware Certified Professional (VCP). Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect. Cisco CCNA / CCNP.

Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) or equivalent certification.

Experience working in a customer-facing or consulting environment is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
