Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the
Area Authority (AA)
for all work activities within the assigned area. Ensure strict compliance with the company'sPermit to Work (PTW)
and Isolation procedures. Coordinate daily work activities with performing authorities, isolations officers, and other stakeholders. Verify that all hazards are identified and controlled prior to issuing permits. Maintain full awareness of all ongoing work and ensure worksite conditions meet safety requirements. Participate in daily permit meetings and toolbox talks. Conduct area inspections before, during, and after work execution. Ensure interface coordination between different work teams, especially during SIMOPS (simultaneous operations). Ensure proper handover and closeout of permits at the end of the work shift or activity. Report and escalate any unsafe acts or conditions immediately.Requirements:
15+ years of experience in oil & gas operations, including construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning. Strong knowledge of PTW systems and Control of Work procedures. Certified as
Area Authority (AA)
. Familiarity with isolation, lock-out/tag-out, and confined space entry protocols. Proven ability to coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams. Strong communication and safety leadership skills.#LI-SS1
