Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed 3D models of structural steel components using Tekla Structures. Generate accurate shop drawings, erection drawings, fabrication drawings and material lists. Review and interpret structural and architectural drawings to create complete detailing packages. Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and fabricators to resolve design and detailing issues. Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts before fabrication.
Requirements:
Minimum
5 years of experience
in structural steel detailing. Expert-level proficiency inTekla Structures
. Strong working knowledge ofAutoCAD
. Familiarity with AISC standards and detailing practices. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings. Good communication and coordination skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Drafting, or a related field. Experience working on Oil and gas, commercial or industrial structural projects.
