Senior Structural Design Engineer (Abu Dhabi)

is seeking a highly qualified and experienced

Senior Structural Design Engineer

to join its Engineering Department. Ideal candidates will have a

strong background in property development projects

and

proven experience working in Abu Dhabi

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute structural design projects, ensuring compliance with international and UAE design codes. Perform structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete and post-tensioned structures. Conduct thorough peer reviews of design submissions to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Apply value engineering principles to optimize structural solutions while maintaining safety and quality standards. Prepare, review, and approve design calculations, reports, drawings, and technical documentation. Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of structural designs. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing within the team. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in structural design software and methodologies. Provide technical support during construction, addressing design-related queries and ensuring compliance with approved plans.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in

Civil/Structural Engineering

from a reputed and accredited university. Minimum

10 years of professional experience

in Structural Design, including

at least 5 years in the UAE

. Extensive experience in performing

Peer Reviews

and applying

strict Value Engineering studies

to achieve

optimum, economical, and efficient structural designs

. Strong experience in the

design of reinforced concrete and post-tensioned structures

. Proficiency in structural design software such as

CSI ETABS, CSI SAFE, Bentley RAM Concept

, and other related tools. Excellent knowledge of

AutoCAD

for structural drafting and detailing. Familiarity with

international design codes

(ACI, BS/EN, and local UAE standards). Strong analytical and coordination skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to prepare and review

design reports, drawings, and technical documentation

.

Salary will be discussed during the interview and will be based on experience
