Role Overview:

As a Senior Structural Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and overseeing the structural integrity of complex building projects. You will lead design efforts, provide technical guidance, and ensure that projects adhere to safety, regulatory, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design and analysis of structural systems for a variety of building projects.

- Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.

- Conduct and review structural analyses using advanced software tools and techniques.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams.

- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate structural designs into overall project plans.

- Perform site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.

- Review and approve structural designs and modifications, ensuring adherence to local building codes and standards.

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

- Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification required.

- 8-10 years of experience in structural design and engineering, with a focus on building projects.

- Proven expertise in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro).

- In-depth knowledge of local building codes, standards, and regulations.

- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

- Ability to manage complex projects and solve challenging engineering problems.
