INTRODUCTION We are a fast-growing UAE-based company involved in the manufacturing and global distribution of premium, gourmet snacking products. We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Senior Storekeeper to lead and be responsible for the RM/PM Stores, adding value by bringing in in-depth knowledge & business acumen to the department. Position Title : Senior Storekeeper Department : RM/PM Stores Location : UAE Reports to : Warehouse Manager Primary Objective:
Take delivery of all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders
Track, document, and resolve any discrepancies on received orders
Ensure accuracy of the facility\xe2\x80\x99s inventory system by updating records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns
Manage inventory/supplies and ensure they are within the established minimum and maximum levels
Keep up-to-date records of receipts, records, and withdrawals from the stockroom
Responsible for packing, labelling, and releasing supplies
Responsible for stock rotation and coordinate the disposal of surpluses
Oversee the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and minor repairs
Manage supplier relations and database as well as maintain high ethical relationships both internally and externally
Create purchase orders and utilize purchasing card to perform low-value procurement activities
Responsible for shipping cancelled or damaged items back to suppliers as appropriate.
To ensure workplace health and safety requirement are met and take responsibility for the security of the warehouse and stock.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to manage process in a 24/7 Operation.
Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationship with relevant stake holders
Ability to think and work effectively under pressure and accurately complete tasks within the established timelines
To develop and maintain a close working relationship with internally and with external vendors.
It is critical that confidence is established through clear and timely communication, decisive actions based on sound evidence and judgment and a positive attitude to resolving
any issues which may arise.
Know when and how to escalate decisions and how to control the ensuing chain of events.
