Must have worked as Senior Stockman minimum of 3 years from an agriculture or farm industry.
Candidate will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of a company's inventory and stock levels
Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies and control procedures to optimize stock levels and streamline supply chain processes.
Continuously monitor inventory levels, analyze sales trends, and forecast demand to inform procurement decisions and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Oversee daily inventory operations, including the receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching of stock, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Conduct regular, detailed inventory audits and cycle counts to identify discrepancies and generate insightful reports on stock movement, turnover rates, and adjustments for management and the finance division.
Coordinate with suppliers and the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of stock and resolve any related issues or delays promptly.
Lead, train, and mentor junior stock management or warehouse staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Identify and drive process improvements and recommend technological solutions to enhance overall efficiency and productivity in inventory management.
