Senior Specialist, Sustainability (Strategy)

About ADNOC 2030 Sustainability Strategy

Sustainability has always been an integral part of ADNOC's values and business practices and stetches back to the vision of the UAE's Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who balanced economic development with environmental responsibility.

Climate Change and Energy Transition

Reduce operational Green House Gas (GHG) emission intensity by 25% by 2030,

Enhance our Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) capacity by 500% by 2030.

Environment

Minimize environmental impact through sustainable biodiversity, water, and waste management

Keep freshwater consumption below 0.5% of total water use

Integrate risk management across all operations and business planning

Experience & Knowledge & Skills:

• Develop an integrated sustainability roadmap and implementation program.
• Guide and engage with central functions and businesses to create sustainability solutions and projects.
• Integration of best practices into sustainability strategy reviews, implementation efforts and disclosures.
• Establishment of internal controls to integrate sustainability into core and decision-making processes.
• Review, prioritize and advise on the strategic goals to ensure sustainability leadership in comparison with peers.
• Develop and drive implementation of ESG and sustainability-related competency framework and training pathways.
