The Role

The Senior Specialist is the central hub for project management, governance, and process improvement at Core42, facilitating the successful delivery of client projects on time, within scope, within budget, and in alignment with the company\'s strategic objectives. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and monitoring of client projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement in project delivery processes, and otherwise ensuring the successful execution of our client projects and initiatives.

Core42 is the UAE\xe2\x80\x99s national-scale enabler for cloud and generative AI, combining G42 Group\xe2\x80\x99s expertise across multiple technology disciplines into a single platform for public sector and large enterprise transformations. Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of project plans, ensuring clear objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with project managers and teams to monitor progress, identify potential risks, and take proactive measures to mitigate issues.
• Build solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including project status, milestones, and any changes in scope or timeline.
• Implement and adhere to project governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to established processes, methodologies, and quality standards.
• Assist in project reviews, risk assessments, and lessons learned exercises to drive continuous improvement.
• Work with project teams to identify resource needs, skill requirements, and capacity planning.
• Facilitate resource allocation, ensuring the right people are assigned to the right projects at the right time.
• Establish performance metrics and KPIs for project delivery and create comprehensive reports to track project progress, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management.
• Continuously assess and refine project management processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and overall project success rates.
• Champion best practices and industry standards to improve project management capabilities.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage project risks, proposing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans, fostering a risk-aware culture within the organization.
• Conduct training programs and workshops to enhance project management skills and knowledge across the organization, sharing project management best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.

Qualifications:

Skills and attributes for success:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in project management.

To qualify for the role you must have:

• At least 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT projects and digital transformation initiatives.
• Previous experience working in a PDMO or similar project management function.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects with diverse stakeholders and teams.
• Proven expertise in project management methodologies and tools.
• Solid understanding of AI-driven technologies, digital transformation solutions, cloud computing, and cyber security concepts.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders and influence decision-making.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve complex problems, make data-driven decisions, and provide innovative solutions.
