Job Description

Job Purpose

Organize, collate data, analyze and develop marketing strategies for Marketing Supply & Trading that yield positive financial results while aligning with overall ADNOC Group Marketing goals. Align, implement and monitor the Marketing Strategy and growth objectives with ADNOC corporate strategy. Ensure Business line companies' strategy is aligned, incorporated within MST strategy and report against implementation.

Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)

Marketing Strategy . Develop strategically directed, comprehensive marketing plans for effective market positioning that cater to the needs of different market segments with appropriate volume allocation. . Coordinate the acquisition and analysis of data for decision-making and planning purposes including the development of comprehensive marketing solutions recommendations to teams & management. . Accumulate robust Strategic Market Intelligence based on Market Research Function data and conduct strategic analysis to derive implications from market development and insights for effective decision-making. . Provide tactical support in the implementation of customer segmentation, Support Marketing, Supply & Trading leadership on overall strategy, competitive dynamics, market trends, feedstock pricing, regulations (anti-dumping), etc. in coordination with respective functions. . Develop and present Pricing strategy for crude and products in close coordination with Marketing Supply & Trading functions. . Translate approved market strategy and business needs into project goals and objectives. . Examine current practices and recommend opportunities for changes on both the strategic level and operational areas with various functions. . Review MS&T business line companies' strategy, recommend changes to management & consolidate into MST strategy and ensure alignment with ADNOC strategy.

Generic Accountabilities

Supervision . Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives. . Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives. Budgets . Provide input for preparation of the Department's budgets and assist in the implementation of the Approved Budget and work plans to deliver Department objectives. . Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control. Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures . Implement approved Department policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Department work programs in line with Company and International standards. Performance Management . Contribute to the achievement of the approved performance objectives for the Department in line with the Company Performance framework. Innovation and Continuous Improvement . Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes. . Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices, pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function. Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability . Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices. Reports . Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

Generic Accountabilities (continue)

Internal Communications & Working Relationships

. Frequent contacts with the personnel in all Units within Marketing, Supply & Trading Directorate for preparations and monitoring of marketing strategy. . Regular contacts with ADNOC Group Companies for integrating ADNOC Marketing strategies into the companies' plans and overseeing their performance. . Regular contacts with the Department Manager, Planning & Performance teams, Panorama, Marketing Research teams, Sales & Operations Planning teams, etc. for MS&T initiatives.

External Communications & Working Relationships

. Frequent contacts Local/international vendors, consultants and professional organizations. . Regular Contact with ADNOC's partners and customers as required. . Contacts with market research and data providers.

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Research, Economics, Business Administration, Management, Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills

10 years' experience in Oil and Gas Industry, at least 3 of which should have been in marketing, research & administration business at a supervisory level.

Work Condition, Physical effort & Work Environment

Physical Effort Minimal - regular walking, standing and keyboard use, as required. Work Environment . Air conditioned office environment, . Exposed to prevailing weather conditions while visiting outside.
