The Purpose:
The Copywriter is responsible for writing effective sales copy for all types of marketing & Communication materials both online and offline.
Key Accountabilities & Activities:
Drafting, editing, rewriting, writing, translating, and proofreading the company’s materials, documents and all official papers required both English and Arabic
Writing different types of copy depending on its purpose.
Writing compelling marketing and promotional materials for a wide variety of products and services.
Help define brand voice and ensure that all copy is consistent with this voice by writing, editing, and proofing materials.
Working closely with marketing, sales, technology, BI, HR, CC and corporate teams to establish tone of voice and appropriate writing styles and documentations.
Collaborating with creative teams to re-edit, rewriting, drafting and relevant copy for brochures, sales materials and products.
Working on online copy alongside the PR team ensuring copy works effectively for search engine optimization purposes.
Working alongside marketing teams to write entertaining and effective email marketing materials.
Researching subject matter to ensure the quality and accuracy of your copy.
Write copy for a variety of media including social, print, video, and online
Edit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs
Collaborate with creative, product, marketing, and legal to assess project needs and help with messaging
Drive brand consistency across all company communications
Implement brand guidelines
Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere
See projects through the whole creative lifestyle, from inception to deployment
Requirements:
Require 2-3 years of relevant experience in in content marketing or copywriting, preferably in the telecommunications sector; Well informed on the Kuwaiti media sector
Good knowledge of MS Office applications like Excel, Word etc.
Excellent command of both written and verbal Arabic and English
Creative flair and excellent presentation skillsStrong Creative skills
Strong Analytical skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Fluent in English & Arabic (other languages a plus)
Excellent writing, communication & presentation skills
Ability to interact effectively with senior people and officials
Excellent time management and organization skills
Must be a proficient communicator and negotiator
Must be an adaptable individual, must work exceptionally well under pressure to meet exacting deadlines and high volume
Must also be able to project manage events and simultaneously manage a variety of issues
Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually
Comfortable working independently with little direction under tight deadlines
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice
Strong attention to detail
Excellent portfolio of work
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications with appropriate registration with a recognized professional institute
