Summary of Job Role:
We are hiring an experienced operator who is comfortable running fixtures for Biofuel/Chemicals/Vegoil up to MR in size. You have good communication skills and know how to run with a fixture from lifting subjects to settlement of any claims keeping everyone informed and ensuring it runs as smoothly as possible.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Support the Specialised chartering team to ensure uncomplicated voyages.

• Liaise with brokers / counterparties / owners / charterers with regards to operational matters on ships and / or cargo.

• Anticipating problems and finding solutions to optimise charter performance.

• Checking and monitoring Freight/Hire/Comm invoices and payments, liaising with Accounts.

• Time bar monitoring.

• Additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Essential Skills, Competencies and Experience:

• Experienced and confident within Tanker Operations, preferably with exposure to Biofuels/Chemicals/Veg Oils.

• Competence using spreadsheets, such as Excel.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Excellent attention to detail.
