Our client specializes in delivering innovative design solutions across various sectors including hospitality, mixed-use developments, workplace environments, residential projects, and more. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for creating sustainable and inspiring spaces, they are dedicated to shaping the future of architecture in the UAE and beyond. They are seeking Senior Site Architects with UAE experience for their office in Dubai. Key Responsibilities:
- Site Supervision: Lead site teams in the execution of architectural designs, ensuring compliance with design specifications, local regulations, and industry standards.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, identify any deviations from the design intent, and implement corrective measures as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal teams including project managers, engineers, and designers to coordinate architectural activities and resolve any technical issues that may arise during construction.
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors on architectural matters, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or queries.
- Documentation: Oversee the preparation and review of architectural drawings, specifications, and other relevant documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Cost Control: Assist in monitoring project budgets and expenditures related to architectural works, identifying cost-saving opportunities where possible without compromising quality.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and challenges related to architectural aspects of projects, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks in collaboration with the project team.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in architecture, and explore opportunities to integrate innovative solutions into project designs.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Architecture from a reputable institution.
- Professional accreditation (e.g., RIBA, AIA, ARB, etc.) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in architectural design and site supervision, with a strong focus on large scale high end hospitality, mixed-use developments, workplace environments, residential projects, high rise towers etc. in the UAE with international practices.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex architectural projects in the UAE, with a sound understanding of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant architectural software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving challenges encountered during the construction process.
- UAE experience and familiarity with local regulations, codes, and permitting processes are essential.
- UAE driving license is essential.
