Our client, a leading engineering consultancy and architecture & planning firm, is seeking a highly experienced
Senior Site Architect
to oversee architectural design, site coordination, and quality control for high-profile projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with consultants, ensuring compliance with design intent, project specifications, and regulatory requirements, while effectively managing on-site execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all site-related architectural activities, ensuring alignment with approved designs and client requirements.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain project timelines.
Review and approve architectural drawings, material submittals, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and codes.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, progress, and adherence to design standards.
Oversee architectural detailing, finishes, and mock-ups to ensure design intent is fully realized.
Provide technical guidance to the project team and ensure smooth collaboration between disciplines.
Prepare site reports, document variations, and assist in resolving design-related challenges.
Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi authorities' regulations and project health & safety requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in
consultant-side roles
in the UAE.
Proven track record of managing architectural works on large-scale projects.
Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and approval procedures.
Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.

Pay: AED22,000.00 - AED23,000.00 per month
