Position We are a globally expanding company in the EdTech sector, working with high standard technology, that is constantly facing new challenges. We are looking for a Senior SecOps Manager who will be responsible for maintaining and expanding the security standard in accordance with ISO27001. We would like you to actively influence the security level, to make recommendations to stand up and configure security, helping to continually add new features to improve security efficiency, reliability, and scalability in a cloud-only architecture. This position will report to the Head of Systems & IT. Responsibilities Lead, manage, and develop the small international SecOps team to become a High-Performance team to ensure we meet the internal and external security requirements for ISO27001 (later maybe SOC1 / SOC2). Using automation to implement and manage secure enterprise solutions using Microsoft cloud tools of Azure. Participate in technical solution and design discussions as the security subject matter expert. Guide the design, development, management, support, and maintenance of Microsoft's Cloud Intune and Azure Active Directory/Azure Identity services as well as the security of our web-based platform. Investigate security incidents and perform compliance reviews. Implement technical measures or leverage existing technologies to prevent sensitive data from leaving the organization. Create technical, project management, operational, training, testing, and other documentation as required. Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and standards, incorporating cloud technologies and DevOps/SecOps concepts as appropriate. Other responsibilities as appropriate or assigned Requirements Competencies Excellent proactive communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to demonstrate risk management skills Reporting & Vendor Management skills Skills Experience across Information Technology, Cloud Services, and Security Solid understanding and experience in IP, VPN implementation and security Solid understanding and experience of PowerShell, MS Endpoints, MS Defender for Endpoint, Intune (Mobile Device Management), Microsoft Sentinel and Azure Active Directory Security Endpoint security Hands-on experience in configuring AWS firewalls, Azure security Experience in Linux, OSX, iOS and Android security Experience on Network analytics and risk analytics (E.g. Zabbix, solar wind Orion, snort, sniffers etc.) Advanced understanding of incident management and vulnerability remediation with the excellent technical investigation and problem-solving skills Familiarity with cybersecurity industry standard frameworks such as ISO, SOC 1 & 2 compliance experience. Microsoft certifications are preferred Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, analytics, or another related field OR relevant experience.
