Job Description

As a Senior Sales Executive, this hire must immediately drive revenue growth while building out team capabilities. Within 12-18 months, they'll assume the Sales & Marketing Manager title, owning strategy, budgeting, and personnel development. Candidates from the carpet industry background will have the priority.

Reports To: Managing Director

Ideal Candidate Profile

Proven track record: Minimum 8+ years industrial sales leadership in machine made carpets, flooring, textiles or adjacent manufactured products. Strategic mindset: Ability to craft territory plans, channel strategies, pricing models, and go-to-market roadmaps. Leadership potential: Demonstrated aptitude for coaching, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, production, and finance. Cultural fit: Entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on attitude, and results-driven ownership. Proven turnaround success: Revived declining sales, restructured underperforming teams, and captured new markets. Factory-floor empathy: Understood production constraints (MOQs, lead times, customization) to set realistic client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

New business development: Identify and convert prospects across targeted sectors and markets. Account management: Grow existing client book through renewal, upsell, and cross-sell. Team building: Recruit, onboard, and mentor Sales Representatives and Marketing Coordinators. Strategy & planning: Develop annual sales and marketing plans, set monthly/quarterly targets, and track performance. Market intelligence: Analyze competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer feedback to inform product positioning and promotional campaigns.

Compensation and Incentives

Base Salary: 15-20% above regional market. Short-Term Incentives: Bonuses tied to achieving sales targets, pipeline growth.
