Duties and responsibilities: The expected tasks from (Senior) Sales Engineer are classified (but not limited to) as mentioned bellow: - Keep regular contacts with all potential clients / partners and supporting our partners (distributors) on their routine activities. - Market watch and feedback on competitor activities and strategies - Searching for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximizing client potential in designated regions - Developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements; - Frequent client visits for different industries and sectors in the respective segment. - Persuading clients that our product or services best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery; - Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs; - Calculating optimized quotations for clients and administering client accounts; - Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services; - Analyzing costs and sales and creating reports for Sales Manager. - Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events; - Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs; - Providing training and producing support material for clients as well as other members of the sales team; - Preparing frequent (Weekly, Monthly) reports for Sales Manager / Sales Director. - Perform all other related duties as required by Sales Manager / Sales Director. Skills profile (technical and personal competencies): Professional Skills: - Acceptable Fluid Hydraulic Knowledge and Building Services applications - Sufficient pump product knowledge - Customer Handling and Sales Methods knowledge Personal Attributes: - be honest and trustworthy - be respectful - possess cultural awareness and sensitivity - be flexible - demonstrate work and personal ethics Ideal Candidate should have: - 5+ years relevant experience in sales/ dealer management positions. - B.Sc. in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or a related field is strongly preferred. - Experience and familiarity of pump brands products and applications. - Self-motivated with a proven track record in rotary equipment sales and knowledge of related technology. - Comfortable in the dynamic teamwork atmosphere of a technical sales organization with a large and comprehensive customer base.
