: Plan, direct, coordinate and advise on machinery maintenance activity in the 3 Train LNG \xe2\x80\x8eplant and Power station with enhanced emphasis on turbo machinery. Help in achieving \xe2\x80\x8eplant reliability, availability, safety goals cost effectively in line with Maintenance policy.\xe2\x80\x8e

• Direct and supervise the activities of assigned Machinery section personnel.\xe2\x80\x8e
• Monitor the operational performance of main turbo compressors, steam and gas turbine \xe2\x80\x8egenerating sets using vibration analysis and other condition monitoring techniques.\xe2\x80\x8e
• Establish and maintain comprehensive maintenance records. Evaluate MTBF and \xe2\x80\x8eundertake efforts to improve to industry best.\xe2\x80\x8e
• Prepare/review maintenance schedules with emphasis on condition based maintenance.\xe2\x80\x8e
• Prepare rotor/component repair procedures. Liaise for repair with OEM or repair \xe2\x80\x8eservice companies.\xe2\x80\x8e
• Issue Failure analysis reports as required. Actively contribute in troubleshooting task \xe2\x80\x8eforces constituted by Management.\xe2\x80\x8e
• Direct all condition monitoring work in the plant. Advise Site Maintenance and \xe2\x80\x8eOperations of incipient faults and recommend remedial course of action.\xe2\x80\x8e
• Pre-qualify and assess bids of specialist machinery contractor for major shutdown, \xe2\x80\x8eprepare scope of work and review bar charts. Inspect machine parts to quality criteria, \xe2\x80\x8eprescribe change-out/repair requirements, perform operational checks and tests during \xe2\x80\x8eshutdowns.\xe2\x80\x8e
• Maintain and order gadgets, special tools, spares and consumables for major \xe2\x80\x8emachinery. \xe2\x80\x8e
• Provides technical assistance to Operations Division and trouble-shoot operational \xe2\x80\x8edifficulties. Provides technical assistance to site Maintenance as required on small \xe2\x80\x8emachinery troubleshooting, recommend improvements/ modifications, establish vendor \xe2\x80\x8eliaison, provide inputs on upgrades, new plant selection and audits.\xe2\x80\x8e
• Review storage conditions of major machinery critical components and advise \xe2\x80\x8erequirements.\xe2\x80\x8e
• Assist in the preparation of Budget - Capital and Major Revex items.\xe2\x80\x8e
• Provides opportunities for training and development of employees (with emphasis on \xe2\x80\x8eUAE Nationals) and act as a mentor to Mechanical Engineering Developees.\xe2\x80\x8e
• Keeps abreast of changes and improvements in associated technology, equipment \xe2\x80\x8edesign, and maintenance practices and apply to site.\xe2\x80\x8e
