Role and Responsibilities:

• Lead the Mechanical Engineering activities in accordance with Project requirements within the assigned budget, time schedule and quality standards
• Ensure compliance with all Project interfaces and supervise in/out information flow regarding mechanical discipline
• Preparation of Equipment Technical Specifications, Mechanical Data Sheets, Material Requisitions
• Technical evaluation/clarification of supplier bids, plus the technical reports to support order placement Project technical support
• Review of Supplier Data and documentation for integration within Project design, such as GA/Details/Calculations/Procedures
• Ensure that all suppliers equipment is in compliance with design specifications
• Oversee engineering performed by EPIC contractors for all rotating and stationary equipment [such as compressors, pumps, vessels, etc) to ensure compliance with the specifications and technical requirements of the project.
• Provide site support and technical assistance for the project during construction, hook-up and commissioning
• Provide technical reports and assist in preparing management reports and attending project meetings.
• Work to ensure that the Company Management of Change and other risk management policies are maintained and that all work is carried out in accordance with Company procedures.

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• More than 15 years' experience out of which 10 years in similar position
• Proven track record in leading a mechanical engineering discipline team
• Experience on Compressed Air and Industrial Gases Projects is highly desirable
• Strong technical competence in rotating equipment with expertise in gas compression, separation and cryogenic refrigerant compression
• Also able to manage rotating, static and packaged equipment
• Equipment deliverables to meet project needs, and ability to handle difficult situations arise due to complexities of Projects demand Direct experience in managing and coordinating with Licensors, OEMs and packaged equipment suppliers
• In depth knowledge of industry codes and standards
• Team player with proven management and leadership skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Effective interpersonal and communications skills,
• Excellent presentation and documentation skill to explain and resolve effectively on technical issue to Client
• Provide mentoring and transfer knowledge, skills and experience to young engineers.
