We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Resident Engineer to join our team in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our building development projects, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing large-scale construction initiatives, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

• Lead and supervise the engineering team on-site, ensuring efficient project execution and adherence to timelines
• Monitor and evaluate project progress, preparing comprehensive reports for stakeholders
• Conduct regular inspections of workmanship and materials to maintain quality standards
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure project success
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and change orders
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
• Implement innovative solutions to overcome project challenges and improve efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline project processes and enhance overall performance
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in building engineering, with a focus on managing large-scale projects
• Proven track record in overseeing complex infrastructure projects in the Middle East
• In-depth knowledge of UAE construction standards, regulations, and best practices
• Strong understanding of infrastructure development, construction methodologies, and quality control processes
• Excellent project management skills, including budget and schedule management
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail
• Proficiency in project management software and CAD tools
• Outstanding leadership and team management skills
• Strong technical report writing and communication abilities
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to work on-site and travel as required for project needs
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in the UAE
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and implement innovative solutions
