About the Role:
Mott MacDonald is looking for a Senior Resident Engineer for the enabling and infrastructure works for a large housing scheme to be developed in Abu Dhabi.

- Assist the Project Director with project management whilst leading and covering all engineering disciplines across the project’s requirements, during design and supervision
- Direct the supervision, coordination, compliance of all works including land development, site improvements and villas construction
- Monitor progress of the project against the agreed schedule
- Check the Contractor’s submission and respond to their request for information
- Observe site safety procedures and actively monitor and report on contractor’s safety performance, raising non-conformance reports when required
- Actively monitor the implementation of contractor’s quality procedures and raise non-conformance reports, as and when required
- Responding for maintaining and enhancing Mott MacDonald’s reputation with the client and developing long term relationships
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to update the client on progress
Candidate Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or any relevant engineering discipline) from an accredited university
- Demonstrable experience on large villas projects with experience in the UAE and in a similar capacity; demonstrable experience of working on the associated infrastructure of villa projects including site improvements
- Demonstrable and extensive knowledge and experience in the execution of land development works including infrastructure and site improvements
