Job Overview:

The Senior Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individualized nursing care provided to patients and their family members according to current best-evidence based standards, using best judgement within their designated clinical area at all times in alignment with DOH/DHA and the organization's policies, procedures, guidelines and standards. The Senior Nurse must also deliver direct patient care whilst, coordinating and overseeing nursing practice, with the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. The Senior Registered Nurse is responsible to deputize for the Line Manager in their absence, driving forward evidence based practice and taking responsibility for the supervision of staff and the policies and practices that operate within their clinical area.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing 3-5 years' of experience post qualification in Operating Theatre/Endoscopy/Day Surgery Unit Proven leadership and team lead experience Dubai Health Authority Medical License * Basic Life Support (BLS)
