Job Description

Responsible for billing and cash collection for the provision of all Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and other additional services provided to airlines operating through all terminals at Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport.

Job Outline:
- Co- ordinate with Flight Support Officers/Dispatchers/Service Delivery Controllers /Technical Shift Officers, to collect all information on services provided for GSE and other airside and terminal charges to airlines.
- Responsible for the generation and processing of credit flight\'s Technical Assistance charge notes, ensuring that the relevant system is updated on a daily basis to avoid billing discrepancies.
- Generate and process \'Aircraft Handling Charge Notes\' (AHCNs) for cash flights, listing all services provided to the flight. The process includes the collection of payments and authentication of the transaction, endorsing the document (AHCNs) through the nominated airline representative or Captain of the flight.
- Responsible for the deposit of the cash collection from airlines within the agreed time frame, generating the Daily Cash Summary required for deposit with the Airport Cashier and ensuring that all relevant documentation is completed and submitted on a daily basis. Responsible for the acceptance of payments through foreign currency or travellers cheques, ensuring the correct amount is collected as displayed in the AHCNs.
- Generate, process and file Handling Request Notes (HRNs) with legal liability clauses before any service is provided to an airline. This involves securing an endorsement from the captain of the flight specified and confirming to all departments that the requested service can be provided through the Flight Support Officer.
- Negotiate with airline representatives over any dispute regarding the provision of service and forward the disputed charge notes to Billing Supervisor, to avoid any billing discrepancies.
- Ensure the accurate filing of all documentation such as technical assistance charge notes, indemnity forms, aircraft handling charge notes and cash collection for the flights allocated by the Flight Support Officer.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Qualification:
- 12 years of School or equivalent
Experience:
- Airport Operations or Others
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Knowledge of all Airside and Terminal related Services (Ground Support Equipment, Cabin services and Ramp related services).
- Knowledge of Aviation Terminology and Airline Codes
- Knowledge of billing procedures on Airside and Terminal services and charges.
- Ability to work with Computers using DMIS and other corporate packages.
- Conversant with basic handling agreement between airlines and Commercial &Business Development.
- Completed a course in Ramp Safety & Fire safety training.
- Valid Airport Driving Permit
