with deep expertise in roads, highways, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will lead cost planning, contract administration, and commercial management across large-scale civil works, ensuring financial efficiency and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documentation for roadworks and infrastructure projects
Manage pre- and post-contract activities including procurement, valuations, variations, and claims
Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and cost control measures
Conduct risk assessments and value engineering to optimize project delivery
Liaise with consultants, contractors, and government authorities to ensure contractual alignment
Prepare interim payment applications and final accounts
Ensure compliance with FIDIC and local contract regulations
Mentor junior quantity surveyors and support team development
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or related field
Minimum 8 years of experience in quantity surveying, with at least 5 years in roads/infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of UAE infrastructure standards and regulatory frameworks
Proficient in cost management tools (e.g., Candy, CostX, Excel)
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills
Membership in RICS or equivalent professional body is preferred
UAE driving license is an advantage
