Position Overview
AECOM is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Dubai, UAE to lead post contract cost consultancy services across luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality developments. This role focuses on cost control, variation management, payment certification, and final account settlement for high-value construction projects across the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead post contract cost management services across mid and large scale projects
  • Manage payment certifications, assessment of variations, and contractor claims
  • Track project budgets, prepare cost reports, and implement risk management strategies
  • Act as primary client contact on small to medium size projects
  • Oversee project resources ensuring delivery within approved budgets
  • Manage tender processes, review tender queries, and prepare tender evaluation reports
  • Apply cost planning standards such as NRM and POMI
  • Conduct benchmarking, data analysis, and internal financial reporting
  • Supervise and mentor junior quantity surveyors and support graduate development programs
  • Monitor performance of direct reports and ensure quality control compliance
  • Contribute to funder advisory deliverables and lifecycle cost management services
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related construction discipline
  • MRICS Chartered Membership required
  • 8 to 10 years of post graduate experience in cost consultancy
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of Middle East project experience
  • Proven experience in luxury residential, hospitality, and commercial developments
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of contract administration and post contract cost control
