Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description
We are urgently hiring for our client in Bahrain a Senior Quantity Surveyor: the QA main role involves being responsible for the validation and monitoring of costs for a road construction project in Bahrain. Responsibilities:
Contract length: 6 months Salary: BD900.000 - BD1,050.000 per month Experience:
- Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
- Track changes to the construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
- Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project
- Measure and value the work done on site
- Pay subcontractors
- Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers project managers and site engineers
- Select and/or source construction materials
- Write reports.
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
- 7 \xe2\x80\x93 12 years of experience in Roads Engineering
- Excellent written and verbal english communication skills
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
