A leading Fitout company is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the quantity surveying function for various fitout projects.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the measurement and valuation of work done on projects, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to clients and management
• Prepare and negotiate claims for variations and other contract entitlements
• Review and analyze contract documents to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
• Manage and mentor a team of quantity surveyors, providing guidance and support where necessary
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Project Management and Procurement, to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery
• Monitor project costs, including the preparation of cost reports, and provide guidance to the project team on cost control measures
• Attend site visits and meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Prepare estimates and budgets for new projects and assist in the preparation of tenders

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• At least 8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Fitout, with at least 3 years in a senior position
• Experience in fitout projects is highly desirable - retail & offices
• Must be based in Dubai
• Strong knowledge of the local construction market, regulations, and practices in Dubai
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Proficient in relevant software applications such as AutoCAD, MS Office, and quantity surveying software
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a commitment to achieving company goals and objectives
