Job Summary:

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all commercial and cost-related aspects of projects from inception to completion. This role involves client-facing responsibilities, contract administration, cost control, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans at all project stages Manage and monitor project costs, cash flow, and financial reporting Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities, and procurement reports Lead tender evaluations and provide recommendations to clients Administer contracts and manage variations, claims, and final accounts Provide cost advice, value engineering, and risk management support Attend client, consultant, and site meetings as required Ensure compliance with contract conditions and company procedures Maintain accurate project documentation and commercial records Support and mentor junior quantity surveyors

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field Minimum

8-12 years

experience, preferably in a consulting environment Professional membership (RICS, CIOB, AIQS, or equivalent) preferred Experience working with standard forms of contract (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, JCT)

Skills & Competencies:

Strong commercial and contractual knowledge Excellent analytical and negotiation skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Proficient in MS Office and cost management software
