Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage accurate quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) works. Evaluate and certify subcontractor payments, variations, and claims based on actual site progress. Maintain and update cost control systems, ensuring that project expenditures are within approved budgets. Coordinate closely with procurement and site teams to verify material quantities and track material deliveries. Ensure compliance with contractual terms and assist in the preparation of contractual correspondence. Prepare and submit monthly cost reports, forecasts, and valuations for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 8 years in Quantity Surveying, with at least 3 years in MEP contracting companies in the UAE. Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field. Strong understanding of MEP systems and site execution processes. Proficiency in cost control software and MS Excel. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Knowledge of FIDIC or similar contract conditions is an advantage.
