Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented

Quantity Surveyor

with solid experience in

steel fabrication projects

. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing project costs, preparing accurate documentation, and ensuring strong financial control throughout the lifecycle of steel structure fabrication and erection projects in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and manage detailed

Bills of Quantities (BOQ)

for steel fabrication projects. Conduct cost analysis and estimate

materials, labor, and equipment

requirements. Prepare

IPA (Interim Payment Applications)

accurately and in a timely manner. Perform

QTO (Quantity Take-Off)

for steel structures directly from drawings. Identify, track, and document

variations

throughout the project. Monitor project budgets, track cost variations, and provide cost forecasts. Evaluate and negotiate

subcontractor and supplier

quotations. Support tender preparation, bid analysis, and contract administration. Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure cost-effective solutions. Maintain accurate, organized records of all project-related financial documents. Ensure compliance with

UAE construction standards

, codes, and company policies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum 4 years of experience in UAE as a Quantity Surveyor in steel fabrication or construction projects. Strong knowledge of steel structures, fabrication processes, and UAE construction standards. Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

Experience in UAE steel fabrication or structural steel projects. Familiarity with procurement, submittal processes, and quality control documentation.
