Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies.
Conduct tender analysis and manage procurement.
Prepare bills of quantities and scope documents.
Support design development with cost advice and value engineering.
Post-Contract Duties:
Manage project budgets, variations, and change orders.
Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare interim valuations, progress claims, and final accounts.
Conduct subcontractor evaluations and payment certifications.
Prepare and manage contract documentation (JCT, FIDIC, etc., depending on region).
Commercial Management:
Forecast and report on project financial performance.
Manage client and subcontractor relationships.
Ensure compliance with company and legal requirements.
Mentor and supervise junior quantity surveyors.
