You will be responsible for cost planning, contract administration, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation for high-rise projects.
Conduct cost planning, value engineering, and budget monitoring throughout project lifecycle.
Manage contract administration and procurement processes.
Evaluate variations, claims, and change orders and advise clients accordingly.
Collaborate with project teams, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate cost control.
Monitor project costs, provide regular reports, and suggest cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Minimum
8-10 years of experience
as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in a consultancy setting.
Proven experience with
high-rise building projects
.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC, NEC, or local standards).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and reporting skills.
Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office.
Preferred:
Professional accreditation (RICS, CIOB, or equivalent).
Experience working in UAE or GCC construction project
