We are currently seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented

Senior Quantity Surveyor

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of our construction projects, ensuring cost-effective delivery while maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents. Manage project finances, including cash flow, valuations, and final accounts. Conduct cost analysis and value engineering exercises. Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports. Assess and negotiate subcontractor claims and variations. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure cost control and efficiency. Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use. Ensure compliance with company procedures and contractual requirements. Advise on procurement strategies and risk management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry. Proven track record of handling large-scale projects independently. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Candy). Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS or equivalent) is a plus
