Responsibilities:
Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.

Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
Traveling from the office to various sites as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
in quantity surveying(Civil), engineering, management, or similar.
Construction Estimating
or finance experienced is advantageous.
Minimum 6-8 Years Experience as a Civil Quantity Surveyor is mandatory.
They should have knowledge of (
Procurement
) the process of acquiring goods, services and labor necessary for construction project.
They should must know
(RFA)
how to a formal document used to seek permission or authorization for a change or deviation from the original contract, drawings, or specifications.
They should must know the process of sourcing, purchasing, receiving, and inspecting all of the goods and services what construction business needs to operate .
They should must know the process of
(Variation)
like changes to the design, quality or quantity of the works set out in the original scope of works unde
r the
contract and therefore will normally result in either additions to or deductions from the contract sum.
They should must know the process of
(Project payment)
to ensure timely and accurate payment applications are submitted and that the client's obligations are fulfilled. The QS should also manages retention sums, prepares final payment certificates, and handles any deductions or adjustments related to payment.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Sound knowledge of
construction.
Must have experience in
Civil Field.
Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
A valid driver's license.
