Jacobs has a strong track record in helping many of the world\xe2\x80\x99s global cities develop visionary strategic designs and due to continued investment within the region our Middle East operation now seeks an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who is keen to gain exposure on large scale design projects as well as work with some of the largest clients in the GCC.

Based in Dubai, you will be experienced in the preparation of Bills of Quantities, compiling multi-disciplinary BOQ in the desired templates, and estimation during each stage of design. You will focus on automation and understanding of workflows to extract quantities from drawings and an added bonus would be experience in writing scripts in Auto CAD, excel & VB macros, REVIT Dynamo scripts and Plug-In etc to drive Jacobs Automation vision to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention. You\xe2\x80\x99ll actively Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements, specifications, and technical details for accurate quantification and estimation. You\xe2\x80\x99ll prepare detailed and accurate quantity take off and Bills of Quantities (BoQ) in alignment with project needs. You\xe2\x80\x99ll tap into both your creative and analytical sides in this role as you develop reports and presentations as well as analyze historical data.

Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and MRICS status is advantageous. You will also possess: -

• Experience as Senior Quantity Surveyor/ Quantity Surveyor.
• Minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 consultant experience or contractor.
• Pre-contract experience - Experienced in quantity take-off, preparation Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and cost estimations.
• In-depth knowledge of CESMM3 & NRM methods of measurement.
• Proficient in the use of REVIT, CIVIL 3D & Auto CAD software.
