Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of construction projects, ensuring effective financial control, accurate valuations, and timely reporting from project inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare cost estimates, budgets, BOQs, and tender documents Monitor project costs and ensure work is completed within approved budgets Prepare interim valuations, variations, and final accounts Evaluate subcontractor quotations, negotiate contracts, and manage payments Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams for cost control Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial statements Handle claims, variations, and contract administration Ensure compliance with contract terms, company procedures, and industry standards
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field Minimum 12-15 years of experience in construction projects (GCC experience preferred) Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and Qatar construction practices Proficient in cost control, estimation, and contract management Experience in infrastructure/building projects is an advantage Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and quantity surveying software Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
