Senior Quantity Surveyor**

**Qatar**

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Quantity Surveyor** to join our team! In this role you will get to provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult project control problems.

**What You'll Be Doing:**

+ The Senior Quantity Surveyor shall be responsible for all QS and contractual matters related to the execution of the construction contract including but not limited to payment certificates, claims, variation orders, etc.

+ Provide assistance to the team during negotiations, arbitration or any other forms of dispute resolution.

+ Interface with clients, attend regular meetings, and give statistical reports.

+ Understands and applies engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships. Develops and maintains critical path logic networks and bar charts utilizing this information.

+ Customizes project control systems to meet specific project requirements.

+ Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**

+ Bachelor's Degree in a Quantity Surveying Discipline from a recognized University to the approval of the Engineer.

+ Post graduate Chartered in Quantity Surveying would be an advantage.

+ Minimum 15 years experience in construction related quantity surveying, of which 7 years in similar surface & ground water networks, utilities Road construction projects or equivalent.

+ Experience must include sewage projects in Large Scale infrastructure utilizes, drainage, sewerage, surface water & Sewerage, roads networks construction.

+ Experience in preparatory construction project monthly valuation.

+ Experience in assessing and valuating Contractor's claims.

+ Good documentation of records.

+ Preparation of submission of all SI, VO, Claims to Ashghal and for project close out.

+ Must have good command of English both written and spoken.

+ Computer skills are mandatory;

+ Must be MME registered.

+ Must have ability to utilize computer technology to analyze data, maintain records, analyze financial data and generate reports.
