About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, cost estimation, procurement, and contract administration. You will play a key role in ensuring project costs are managed efficiently and that client and stakeholder expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects Manage procurement processes including tendering and contract negotiations Administer contracts and manage variations, claims, and payments Monitor project progress, expenditures, and risks Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure cost-effective project execution Prepare and present detailed reports to senior management and clients Ensure compliance with building regulations and contractual obligations

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field Minimum 8+ years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry Strong understanding of construction methods, contracts (e.g., FIDIC, NEC), and project lifecycle Proven experience in managing large-scale commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects Excellent analytical and negotiation skills Proficiency in industry software (e.g., CostX, Candy, MS Project, AutoCAD) Professional membership (e.g., RICS, AIQS, CIQS) is preferred
