Key Responsibilities
Prepare and manage BOQs, cost estimates, tender packages, and commercial documentation.
Review IFC drawings and extract accurate quantities for tendering, procurement, and execution.
Analyze subcontractor quotations and prepare commercial comparison sheets for award recommendations.
Prepare and review interim valuations, subcontractor payment certificates, variation claims, and final accounts.
Track and document variations, prepare claims with supporting documentation, and submit for consultant/client approval.
Assist procurement with material take-offs, budget allocations, and package finalization.
Monitor project costs and prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete analysis.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure works align with contractual requirements and budget constraints.
Maintain and update cost logs, correspondence, and commercial records.
Support contract administration and ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.
Skills & Competencies Required
Strong understanding of residential construction cost control (villas & buildings).
Excellent negotiation and communication skills with consultants and subcontractors.
Proficient in cost estimation, BOQ measurements, and commercial reporting.
Strong command of MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity measurement software (CostX, Candy preferred).
BIM/Revit exposure is an advantage.
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
Minimum
10+ years
of UAE experience within contracting (preferably villas and buildings construction)
