to oversee cost management and contract administration across our construction projects. The Sr. QS will lead the QS team, provide strategic cost advice, and ensure projects are delivered within budget while meeting contractual and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all pre- and post-contract quantity surveying activities.
Prepare, review, and approve BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documentation.
Manage subcontractor procurement, contract negotiation, and agreements.
Evaluate claims, variations, and prepare contractual correspondences.
Conduct detailed cost analysis, value engineering, and cash flow forecasting.
Ensure compliance with FIDIC or other contract conditions.
Mentor and guide junior QS staff, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Prepare monthly cost reports, final accounts, and provide advice to management.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and project teams for financial and contractual matters.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field (RICS membership preferred).
12-15 years' proven experience
in quantity surveying, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
Strong background in
high-rise, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects
.
Excellent knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC essential).
Proficiency in
MS Excel, AutoCAD, QS software, and cost management tools
.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
