Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team! In this role you will play an important part in the delivery of complex infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Joining the Engineer's team delivering post contract cost management / quantity surveying services
- Managing a team of quantity surveyors and external Cost Consultant Resources
- Assess design and construction variations, including quantity and new rate verification
- Remeasurement of construct-only projects
- Certification of work done for payment
- Cost reporting
- Cash flow forecasting
- Bachelors degree in quantity surveying or related field
- 10 years minimum Quantity Surveying experience, of which 4 years should be in the UAE
- Demonstrable history on major infrastructure projects
- Attention to detail, driven, and independent
- Excellent written contractual correspondence and verbal communication skills
- MRICS, CICES or alternative
- Proficiency in CostX and other measurement software
- Ideally, a mixed background with time served at both Contractor and Consultant organisations
