About the role:

Collaborates with Quality management to recommend, design and implement functional process improvements. Develops, establishes, and maintains quality methodologies, systems and practices which meet BSC, customer and regulatory requirements. The Senior Quality Engineer serves as a Quality representative to improve awareness, visibility, and communication on quality initiatives to support assigned departmental, functional, site, divisional and corporate quality goals and priorities. Ensures compliance to the BSC Quality System and relevant ISO Standards & Regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities will include:

• Implements, maintains and improves the Quality operations process at the for the Dubai Supply Chain.
• Collaborates, supports, and manages change with the 3rd party logistics (3PL) provider in Dubai.
• Provides quality engineering support for BSC supply chain and 3PL teams on procedures and processes.
• Works with Engineering, Operations, Regulatory and Global Packaging Departments to ensure that Packaging Standards are met and sustained.
• Pro-actively demonstrate leadership and seniority in the implementation of all Quality standards and procedures in the operational processes, to ensure that processes are executed per Corporate and Regulatory requirements.
• Act as a team member/leader in continuous improvement activities, NCEPs, CAPA and lean initiatives from a quality perspective, for both internal and external customers
• Pro-actively investigates, identifies and implements best in class Quality Engineering practices and champions/implements continuous improvement projects within the organization (CAPA, VIP, Star, Lean, 5S).
• Understands and utilizes problem solving methodologies in resolving Quality issues (Is/Is not diagram/Fishbone diagram, Pareto, FMEA).
• Act as a cross functional team member/lead on internal and external projects.
• Assures procedures and work instructions reflect Distribution processes and Corporate & Global requirements.
• Collaborates with cross-functional colleagues regarding the impacts of (SAP) enhancements and process changes.
• Gives technical guidance to 3PL on active/quality release.
• Has the responsibility and independent authority to make decisions related to product quality, including the disposition of non-conforming product.
• Participates and supports 3PL in Customer Complaints investigations.
• Demonstrates and actively promotes highest levels of professional QA Engineering discipline and rigor.
• Assists the Quality Assurance Manager in all Quality related issues.
• Is viewed as a leader in the areas of QSR and ISO, MoH standards , constantly promoting awareness of best industry practices making appropriate decisions on a daily basis using the Quality Assurance Manager/Site QA Director as the final arbitrator on critical quality decisions.
• Where appropriate, manages the quality project portfolio to ensure successful execution and quality compliance.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years\' experience
• UAE qualified Pharmacist or Medical Equipment Engineer with a certificate of graduation approved by the UAE Higher Education Ministry
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Above
• Strong Quality Engineering background in a Distribution/Supply Chain Environment
• Proven experience in Process/Continuous Improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S etc)
• Non-Conformance management.
• Supplier management.
• Proven experience in Stakeholder management.
