We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy of cost estimates and financial management of our projects.

Role Overview:

The Senior Quantity Surveyor/Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing project budgets, and providing financial oversight for building projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction costs, contractual obligations, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for building projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs. Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Review and analyze project plans and specifications to determine cost implications and feasibility. Conduct cost analyses and value engineering assessments to identify cost-saving opportunities. Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. Monitor project expenditures and financial performance, providing regular reports to management. Resolve any cost-related issues and discrepancies in collaboration with project teams. Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in all financial dealings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. 12+ years of experience in quantity surveying and cost estimation for building projects. Proven experience in preparing accurate cost estimates and managing project budgets. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and contract management. Proficiency in cost estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects.
