Job title: Senior QC Inspector - REMS
Job description: Inspect TechnipFMC products received from other TechnipFMC plant and vendors. Perform QC Inspection during manufacturing process as per the DBI. Perform Welding Inspection.
Reporting: Quality Manager
Location: Abu Dhabi
You are meant for this job if:
- Review WPS and PQR whenever required and perform welders\xe2\x80\x99 continuity checks. Train new QC inspectors as and when required. Assess QC inspectors post training.
- Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming equipment from vendors / Customers and outgoing products for shipping.
- Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications. Performs SAP transactions after completion of QC operations.
- Perform stage Quality inspection as required by the job which includes Dimensional inspection /NDT (MPI, LP, UT) / Hardness checks /Visual Checks / Light Band/ Thread inspection/ Coating inspection.
- Interpret machine shop drawings and understand machining symbols and tolerance limits and compare the same to the actual component. Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records. Compile and upload the reports into server.
- Record workshop Nonconformance. Assist any certification, Customer, or Internal Audit. Send NOI to customer QC for them to come and check the equipment before storing them under VMI.
Reporting: Quality Manager
Location: Abu Dhabi
You are meant for this job if:
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in Quality Control or inspections. (Oil and Gas industry preferred). Min 4 years of experience on wellhead inspection or sound knowledge of well heads is preferred with 2 years of welding inspection.
- API 6A knowledge required.
- Performed Coating inspection and aware of inspection methods.
